MRS Shuttle


Shuttle pick-up by loading dock on east side of SEEC, 6:15 am, M-F

The Niwot Ridge LTER shuttle will start running on June 13, 2016.  The shuttle will go between Boulder and the Mountain Research Station (MRS), Monday through Friday, until the end of August and is available to anyone working at Niwot Ridge. 

**Shuttle will NOT go to MRS on Monday, July 11 due to fire in Nederland**

Pick-up locations:

The shuttle will leave Boulder from the parking lot (near the loading dock) of the MacAllister/SEEC building, 4001 Discovery Dr., on east campus. Additional pick up stops will be made BY REQUEST ONLY. If you want to be picked up at one of the following locations, please contact the shuttle driver at least 24 hrs. in advance.

     a) Settler’s Park on Canyon Blvd.

     b) Magnolia bus stop on Boulder Canyon Dr.

     c) Park and Ride on W. 2nd St. in Nederland


Departure times:

6:15 am    Shuttle leaves SEEC parking lot to go to MRS
7:30 am

Vehicles going up to the C1 climate station and cable gate, and into the watershed leave from

in front of the Marr Lab at the MRS    **once roads are clear of snow**

3:30 pm Shuttle departure deadline from cable gate to return to the Marr Lab 
4:00 pm*

Shuttle leaves from the Marr Lab to go back to SEEC

*Tues. & Thurs. shuttle leaving time may be later than 4:00 pm, depending on watershed researchers
